The RGT 4.2 maintained a long tradition of RUF supercars with its incredible driving performance. First unveiled in 2000, the first RGT was characterized by its powerful, torquey normally-aspirated flat-six engine. This power unit combined with the overall weight significantly reduced, plus a sports-oriented suspension system made the RGT an extremely impressive machine.
In 2016 the RGT remained true to its original concept, though its external appearance was clearly more athletic. The wheel arches were more accentuated and the front valance included huge round air intakes for more effective cooling. The chassis was reinforced by RUF’s hallmark Integrated Roll Cage (IRC). Power was provided by its virile 4.2-litre six-cylinder, normally-aspirated engine, developing 525 hp and 500Nm of torque, featuring dry sump lubrication with an external oil tank. Without doubt, a proper driving machine.
