The Story

The 3800S combined the dynamics of a mid-engine sports car with elegant practicality for daily use like no other whilst the engine sound could be switched from understated to dynamic with the push of a button. The 3800S was powered by a 3.8 litre flat 6 engine that could produce 420 hp @ 7.000 rpm and a maximum torque of 450 Nm (332 lb ft) @ 5.600/rpm.

In combination with the optional double clutch gearbox the standing start from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) took just 4.1 seconds and a maximum speed of more than 186 mph (300 km/h) could be achieved. The 3800 S was available as a roadster or as a coupe.
