RUF RGT 4.2 Front

RUF RGT 4.2

DETAILS

The RUF RGT 4.2 maintains a long tradition of RUF supercars with its fabulous driving performance. Unveiled in 2000, the first RGT was characterized by its powerful, torquey normally-aspirated flat-six engine. With weight significantly reduced and a sports-oriented suspension system, the RGT was an extremely impressive machine.

Now, in 2016, the RGT 4.2 remains true to its original concept, though its external appearance is clearly more athletic. The wheel arches are more bulbous and the front facade presents huge round air intakes for more effective cooling.

The chassis is reinforced by RUF’s hallmark IRC (Integrated Roll Cage). Power is provided by its virile 4.2 liter six-cylinder, normally-aspirated engine, developing 525hp and 370lbft of torque.  This powerhouse features dry sump lubrication with an external oil tank.

With its performance focus, the only option for power train is rear-wheel drive, and a six-speed manual gearbox.  Without a doubt, a proper drivers machine.
